Backstroke water entry tutorial.

During the 2006 season, The Hornet Swim Club acquired an exciting underwater video system that enhances the training and learning experience of our swimmers!  Dartfish Video Analysis Software is the premier video training system in the sport of swimming today!

Our coaching staff has an extremely powerful teaching and training tool allowing them to view, tape and analyze our swimmers both above AND below the water.
Our coaches can also analyze video footage of our swimmers from different angles, slo-motion, stop motion, frame by frame, and image zoom.

Dartfish is used extensively on the Colligate and Olympic level as well as the USA National Swim Team.  The system is also in use at the top National and International levels and endorsed by USA Swimming.

We also have a library of Video Clips of some of the top swimmers in the world. A high-level Dartfish analysis, even allows our coaches to do split screen analysis of our swimmers along side video of some the best swimmers in the world.

We will be gradually re-introducing the system to our swimmers over the course of this new season.  The coaches will be analyzing and talking to swimmers about what they see in their strokes. Most Dartfish video taping will take place during Friday night practice sessions.

Parents, it is extremely important that you remind your swimmers to use extra caution around the video camera, laptop computer and underwater camera lenses when Dartfish gear is on deck.
